Why we built Feasible

A pageview takes about 210 bytes to store. One million pageviews a month for a year takes about 3.5 GB. One process handles roughly 6,000 events a second. A small site can run Feasible on one CPU and 512 MB of RAM.

Counting pageviews is cheap. We priced it that way.

What that costs to buy

Plausible has cheaper plans. Business is the first one with custom properties, funnels, and the Stats API, so that is the fair comparison. See the full price table.

The part where we’re fair

Fast reports, support, bot filtering, email, card fees, and taxes all cost money. Privacy-friendly analytics companies also did the hard work of proving this category could exist without surveillance. Those costs are real. They still do not explain a fourteen-times price gap.

About the name

The joke is the bill. The .lol reminds us, too. If we add crippled tiers or raise prices while hardware gets cheaper, the name will tell on us.

We were customers first

We run several sites. Other tools charged more for each site, teammate, and useful feature. We stopped comparing plans and measured what the job cost. Then we built the product we wanted to buy.

What we did instead

One plan. $9.99 a month or $99 a year. Everything is included.

Two things counted. Pageviews and custom events. You get one million a month. Properties, sites, seats, goals, and funnels don’t count.

Nothing held back. The API, raw exports, webhooks, funnels, and teams work in the hosted and self-hosted product.

It tells you when it breaks. Every dropped event has a reason you can read.

A limit that doesn’t shut you off. Go over one million and we email you. We don’t throttle, sample, delete, or add an overage charge.

The catch

We’re small and new. We don’t offer an account manager or a signed uptime agreement. We do offer the source code, a complete export, and a price you can understand.

Counting pageviews was always cheap. We priced it like it.
